Martina Weber is co-founder and director of the seminar center Il Convento in Tuscany. She is a certified teacher and supervisor of Initiatory Gesture Play according to Silvia Ostertag©, and a Zen teacher authorized by Silvia Ostertag, Rin’un Roshi, Sanbō Zen.

She trained in dance theatre as well as in energy and consciousness work with Tai Deharde. This was followed by advanced studies in theatre, dance, and performance art with Ingemar Lindh at the Istituto di Arte Scenica in Italy. She then met her teacher Silvia Ostertag and embarked on many years of training in Zen and Initiatory Gesture Play. She further expanded her therapeutic skills through training in transpersonal Gestalt therapy and dream body work with Rainer Pervöltz.

Martina’s interdisciplinary training path brings together expertise in dance, theatre, spiritual practice, and therapy. This unique combination enables her to support and guide participants in a holistic way.

Since 1987, she has been leading seminars in creative body and consciousness work. Within this context, she developed her own approach, combining free dance and Initiatory Gesture Play with sitting in silence. This path of practice initiates a profound process of self-clarification and fosters a new inner understanding of one’s identity and personal life direction.

She offers her courses in southern Germany and in Italy.
