Il Convento built in 1549 and nestled between the majestic Apuan Alps and the serene Mediterranean sea, was home to the nuns' order of Santa Marta for over three centuries before being privatised. The old construction has been mindfully restored and lovingly redecorated. Il Convento is immersed in the dense woods of the Lunigiana - an oasis of mindful gardening and love for the little details. Today, II Convento serves as retreat centre, course venue and guesthouse for a range of events. A peaceful atmosphere and light-hearted equanimity allow our minds to become as clear as the air.
The surroundings of Il Convento will serve as our festival ground.
